The 2021 Competitive Grant Cycle is now open with $25,000 available for grants, application due by 5 p.m. on March 31st. Visit www.petersburgcf.org/grants for additional information.

  • The Petersburg Community Foundation is dedicated to strengthening our community by supporting projects that enhance the quality of life for Petersburg area residents. We seek projects that have the potential to impact a broad range of residents and show collaboration with other organizations. Grants can vary up to $10,000 in size.

What is the story with the discretionary grants? In 2020, the Petersburg Community Foundation committed to supporting emerging needs of community nonprofits in response to fallout from the Covid pandemic. The funding for the 2020 competitive grant cycle was held for the purposes of awarding discretionary grants on an as needed basis. The PCF Advisory Board recognizes that the hardships did not end in 2020 and will continue to award discretionary grants on an as needed basis through 2021.

  • The application consists of a letter of request outlining the project and funding needs, emailed to petersburg@alaskacf.org or jjohnson@alaskacf.org. There is no deadline for submission given the intent to meet emerging needs.
