2021 Petersburg Community Foundation Grant Recipient – Petersburg City Schools Petersburg City School District receives $2,500 grant for a community-based transitional program/small business educational opportunity.

Happy Syttende Mai!

The 2021 Petersburg Community Foundation grant cycle is closed, and we have awarded $24,175.00 to our local nonprofits. Awarding grants always feels good, and PCF wants to share this success.

Grantee project highlight: Petersburg City School District receives $2,500.00.

The secondary school special education students are developing a school-based small business enterprise that will fill a need here in Petersburg. This community-based transitional program will allow the students to be entrepreneurs, learn work/life skills, learn business management, and experience day-to-day functions needed to keep a business operational.

Celebrating Syttende Mai, celebrating the work of our nonprofits, and celebrating the success of the Petersburg Community Foundation grant-making endowment fund!
