PCF’s Emergency Grants for COVID Relief

Petersburg Community Foundation (PCF) announces the availability of up to $25,000 in emergency grant funds.

The Petersburg Community Foundation’s mission is to strengthen our community through supporting the projects of non-profits. PCF recognizes that our local nonprofits and other groups are providing vital assistance and providing frontline services to affected families.

Funds specific to COVID-related relief efforts will be released on a rolling basis. To request emergency grants from the Petersburg Community Foundation, nonprofits are encouraged to submit a brief letter stating:

  1. the organization
  2. the amount requested
  3. the project(s) the funds will be used for
  4. the rough timeline for successfully completing the project

Please submit letters of request to Joni Johnson at jjohnson@alaskacf.org or by mail to PO Box 1024, Petersburg, AK 99833. There is no deadline so PCF can respond to needs as they arise. Eligible applicants are qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofits organizations or charitable organizations fiscally sponsored by 510(c)(3).

Please review Petersburg Community Foundation’s Annual Grant Guidelines to determine your organization’s eligibility before applying.

Please direct general questions to PCF’s local Program Manager, Joni Johnson, at: jjohnson@alaskacf.org.
