Community Building and Leadership
PCF’s chairperson, Liz Cabrera, received the Alaska Community Foundation’s award for Community Building and Leadership! Liz carried a heavy load this past year+ on behalf of nonprofits and our entire community, and she has done an incredible job of connecting resources and keeping nonprofits and businesses abreast of changes. She has been a voice for those who lack basic needs within the borough and utilized the Petersburg Community Foundation as a connection for nonprofit and community needs.
She received a $500.00 award to be granted to a nonprofit of her choice – Petersburg’s Humanity in Progress!
