Petersburg CARES Act Grant Assistance From PCF Borough of Petersburg Nonprofit Stabilization applications due June 26th (June 16th, if childcare)

The Petersburg Community Foundation is providing assistance to nonprofits and charitable organizations June 11th, 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. The virtual meeting will provide an overview of organization eligibility, eligible programs covered, the application process, and answer any questions.

The Petersburg Borough has set aside 10% of CARES Act funding for local nonprofits, the first step in keeping our nonprofits whole as they weather the COVID-19 crisis.

Many of these organizations have been on the front line in the humanitarian response to the COVID pandemic. All of these organizations are essential to the fabric of Petersburg. Our nonprofits provide food, hygiene, childcare, after school programs, domestic violence advocacy, animal control, rent and utility assistance, dance education, and on and on and on. These groups provide important services to our community, and all have been adversely impacted by COVID.
